Random Riddles

Okay,
This started at school when the teacher was out of the room.
My friends and I were asking each other complicated riddles that has the most simple answers.
So I'll start.
There was a black dog.
Walking on a black road.
The street lights were not turned on.
The moon was not shining.
Then a man with a black car came by.
Passing through the black dog.
His headlights were not turned on.
And the dog was making no sound.
How does the man see the dog?
What dries as it gets wetter?
Answer These for me okay! ^^

Well, is it because it's daylight? So the man can see the dog though it's a black dog?

This one should be easier.
for example:
Tammy runs around a square.
she ran up one side for 90 minutes,
then she ran right for another 90 minutes
Tammy then ran back down the line on the right hand side for another 90 minutes.
the last line to complete her run took her an hour and a half.
how did this happen?
No one got the second one yet ^^
