How did you get into K-POP?

I see many users on fanfictional are into Kpop ; especially DBSK & I'm one of them ; so I'm wondering how you all started into Kpop (:

Here's my story -

When me & my ex broke up, my friend Shirley, in order to try and cheer me up; sent me pictures of Big Bang & Big Bang's songs. I fell in love with Daesung. I admire his optimism for everything, his smile was seriously a motivation. I loved how he could always see the good side to everything. That's when I looked into Big Bang even more & basically just fell in love with them. Big Bang was my entrance to kpop and savior of me when I was upset & wanted to shut the world out ; Big Bang was there for me. I owe them for being in my life & I'm forever a VIP

I'm guessing most of you are wondering about DBSK xD
Cause as you all know, I love DBSK too ^^

Okay, I'll share my story with you

DBSK... well, they were like the second group in kpop that I got REALLY into.

How it started was; my friend Christine, decided I liked Big Bang TOO much and NEEDED more varity in my life. So this crazy girl sends me pictures of DBSK & Super Junior and burns me about 15 CDs of their songs and tells me to listen & "PICK A MAN" as she implied to me. LOL

I ignored her. LOL.

Well, I ignored her about the "pick a man" part but, I listened to their songs. I fell in love with "On & On" The first DBSK song I heard To this day; it's still one of my favorites.

But anyway, Christine kept pestering me & it was kind of hard to ignore her, considering she was at my house EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

So one day, out of sheer boredom, I go look at the DBSK and Super Junior pictures with her still pestering me to "pick a man except xiah cause xiah is hers"
I will honestly say, Super Junior did not attract me at all ; so I kinda ignored them.
I opened a DBSK picture and, I already knew UKnow, causeＩ another friend who loved him; but anyway -
So I was looking at the picture and all I thought was "...THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME" LOL I'm not kidding. I was like "...Xiah looks weird here (Well, in that picture he did X_X JUNSU LOVERS DON'T KILL ME DX) and Micky's hair was bad (I really don't like Micky with long hair). OMFG HERO'S EYES ARE SO HOT! Uknow? I rather not get killed by my Uknow loving friends. Max with long hair looks bad too. @_@" BUT OMFG HERO'S EYES ARE SO HOT; WHY CAN'T MY EYES BE LIKE THAT?! /SOBSOB"

LOL, I'm not even gonna lie, that was the start of my love for Kim Jaejoong. LOL. The first MV I saw of DBSK was balloons. THAT WAS SO CUTE! LOL. And I watched Dangerous Love, and fell in deep like with Changmin along the way, but my love for Jaejoong just grew. And then, other friends took Changmin away from me ): bastards D:< (i kid i kid) but Changmin's still my second fav in DBSK

As of then, Kim Jaejoong is my #1 in DBSK
&DBSK had helped me through a love triangle in my life & helped me through friendship problems; I owe them for being there for me just like Big Bang. <3

If you told me to choose a group between those two, I'd probably go kill myself instead. I love them both so much, I can't pick between them.
Yes, I have a tendeny to talk about DBSK more, but, Big Bang is still there in my heart. Forever & ever

well, my story...

i was anime fanantic before
so i get into so many anime sites and drama sites
one day,
i trampled over a site called Crunchyroll
where you can watch dramas and animes, (but its changed now to just anime's and kdramas)
then, i get to chatting with people online in crunchyroll, and one person screamed about Junsu....

i was like "who's Junsu?"
i didn't know who they were then because i was busy being all crazy with FLH

and she replied to me "when were you born?! DBSK of course!"
then i said "oh...let me check them out then..."

then i went into music videos and saw videos of DBSK/TVXQ/THSK/TVfXQ
and the very first song i've heard of them was "whatever they say (acapella)"

and i thought they're voices were like angels, now i'm not going to lie but i did think that JaeJoong was girl....
i mean he just looks so beautiful!

then i got addicted!!!

Haha Your stories seem much more interesting than mine. Actually , fell into k.pop and that was weird when it was, 3 years ago?

I was like, listening to An Cafe and some other J rock songs from a random website when i saw a video of DBSK. I was like, who the hell is DSKB(yeah). I was like
Jae : Eww he's uglyyy (yeah that was me)
Days later, i fell in love with Jaejoong =_=" xD

Ok now my story XDD

I was a real Anime-fan at first ! When I started with 6 years old to watch Sailor Moon ! I draw many Anime-pictures ^^
Then I got into my 9th grade at school (like Highschool)
I meet some friends who also love Anime but Japan too !
Then I began to love Japan and the culture!

When I turned 18 I moved to another place to make my trainingjob as a chef !
I met some people who also love Anime and Japan !
But Korea too !
I thought : Oh no Korea I like Japan much more XDD
They show me a music video of Super Junior Don't Don't !! I never saw soooo much people dance !!!
I fell in Love with Lee Dong Hae XDD
And then I changed my mind and loved Korea and Japan ^^ I also love to watch Korean and Japanese Dramas ^^

I got into the whole KPOP thing when Se7en was on TV (I have had TVB for almost my whole life). I asked my cousin if Se7en was good and he said he was alright. Then I went to download some of his songs and I thought they were awesome. Eventually, other KPOP artists grew onto me

Yes... My baby dolphin duck... However, sometime i get Jaejoong fever, or drooled over Yunho's hot body, or fell in love with Changmin's witty remark. And melt becoz of Chun's sleaziness...
