Bleeding Heart fanfic [Jaejoong/Yunho/Aya Ueto]

Chapter 01: A New Beginning

The sun shone through spontaneously underneath the heavy translucent clouds, beaming rays of light and heat onto the surface of the earth as a new day has yet been born again awaiting for another adventure to commence, in this life, in this body and in this soul I’ve been living in for so long now. However, I’m so helplessly loathsome for having another opportunity of living another day, a total epitome of pessimist, that‘s how I describe myself. I wasn’t like this before though; I was hopeful, alive and ebulliently looking for an adventure persistently every day I have lived. It was pure satisfaction for me to exist in this world of ours but what was in the past can never be revived nor be repeated again to now or to the future itself, at least I knew that somehow.

It all began during our trip to Japan from our hometown Korea and I was traveling with Yui, my companion and my best friend. A trip meant to open new doors, a new life and a chance to live a different lifestyle. It was exactly 2 o’clock am when we arrived in Narita International Airport of Tokyo, the very heart of Japan where numerous of tourists, foreigners, businessmen and locals comes and goes day-to-day.

“OK! This is it JJ. We are now about to officially live a new and different life! Thereby, forget the past and live the present-day now. So, are you ready?” Yui commanded enthusiastically as he landed his left hand on my right shoulder beside me tilting his head sideways slightly as he looked and questioned me.

“Well, first of all… would you please stop calling me JJ? That’s not the name I was given when I was born in this world! It’s Hero! Do I have to remind you all the time? And hell YES! Of course I’m ready… ready as you are!!” A sudden burst of energy flowed through my nerves as I answered him truthfully with these words. He was right; it was time to forget the past and forget the life we lived in Korea.

Yui let go of my shoulder and instantly headed to the glass doors, where it said exit in both Japanese and English, waiting eagerly for me to stand next beside him to begin the life we’ve been blabbing on about together for years and now that the time has come my heartbeat grew unevenly faster with excitement as I ran quickly next to him without hesitating. We took a deep breath together and steadily maneuvered our way outside in a split of a second and at that very moment our dreams became a reality.

The temperature was freezing outside; every breath we took became more and more foggy like a thick smoke you would get from inhaling cigarette smoke into your lungs. After a few bitingly freezing minutes, we called for a taxi and got onto it heading for our hotel we booked near the central of Tokyo city as we’ve planned.

“AH! YOKATA! We finally made it after years and years of planning… *sniff sniff* Geez… I think I’m about to cry tears of joy!! AHAHA!! WOW! This city is really amazing, so vibrant and alive. I can live here forever and e…v… ER!”

The middle-aged taxi driver responded instantly with his rich alto voice, “Why your one hell of an excited man my boy!” He giggled softly as he drove us through a swamp of people scattered in the very busy town of Tokyo.

I interrupted politely and said, “Wow, you can speak english? That’s excellent! May I ask… is this how it’s like everyday here? Numerous of people are still awake at a time of silence and it’s already 3:17 in the morning. It’s way past bedtime!?”

“You my boy has a lot to learn. It’s been like this for years and it’s my job to learn english so I can communicate with foreigners and tourists just like you boys.” He corrected.

His first sentence was almost insulting but I knew he did not mean any offence and besides it was not his fault that I have to be a complete ignorant on such basic knowledge for crying out loud.

“AHAHA! That’s right. You tell on him sir! JJ does need to learn a LOT of things about this beautiful place.” Yui replied reluctantly.

Yui knows a lot of things that I don’t know about and this is not his first time here too. He’s been here a few times already and has mastered speaking fluent Japanese in just six months. His extensive knowledge made me look up to him as a big brother most of the time even though he’s just a few days older than me plus it’s been approximately fifteen years now since we became the best of friends at an age of eight.

It was silent for a moment but a light mumbling noise emerged outside my doorway from where I was sitting inside the taxicab. The sound became louder and louder or clearer perhaps and soon I realized it was Yui standing outside already my doorway with our luggages parallel to him trying to figure out what I was still doing inside. Eventually, a few look around my surroundings and I was back to the real world from my daydreaming habit. The taxi driver stared at me oddly across his bulky shoulders as I carefully manage my way out of his four-wheel drive cab. I was not sure if that driver was being friendly or just really likes to denigrate the dull-witted me. As soon as I got out I pouted my lips and frowned then uncontrollably pulled an idiotic face that made Yui have a laughing fit for five interminable minutes.

“BWUAHAHA!!! What was that for? Hey by the way JJ, I think I might faint anytime soon now! I’m so exhausted I could barely take a step inside the hotel.” He gently said.

“Come on, we’re almost there. We just need to check in and we will be sleeping on our comfy beds snoring heavily in no time. Just use a little more of your energy and get a move on bu…d…dy *yawns*”

Twenty minutes later…

At last, a young and well-uniformed hotelier guided us to our room on the twentieth floor. At the moment we arrived he slowly opened the door that was numbered ‘08’ with an intricate design etched into the wooden door before us, he lifted one of his arms towards the spacious room for our chance to enter it.

“If there is anything you need please let us know sir.” He instructed as he left our two weighty luggages with ease in front of us. He slightly bowed traditionally and left the room quietly.

I stood there fascinated by the room, “Arigatou gozai…ma…su…” a low vulnerable voice escaped from my lips to thank his hospitality but he was already gone.

I looked for Yui instead as he vanished swiftly next to me. I walked around the ample space of the room and could not help but notice the delicate designs that the room consisted of. The walls, the high-beamed ceiling, the marbled floors, and the thick carpets were all varying shades of white. It was very soothing, calming and comforting. Even pure white satin curtains that occupied the windows across the room were embroidered with complex designs. The interiors were very Western-like according to what I have seen in televisions and only a minority of Japanese delicacy was present.

My knees weakened as I recognized the time on the antique clock in the corner of the room. It was already six in the morning and I haven’t had any rest yet. I searched for a bed noticing that Yui was already sleeping on one of them and was already vigorously snoring. I reached for mine to see how comforting it was. I sat on the end of the bed that was two meters away beside Yui’s and lay my head down for a minute or so. The bed was sensational that it made my backbone clicked a couple of times, as it lies straight on the smooth bed. I closed my heavy eyes and thought a moment for tomorrow’s event.

*Yui snoring insistently*

“Beep… beep… beep… BEEP!!!”

‘What is that noise? I just closed my eyes for a second. Its so loud it’s giving me a headache. Aishh!!!’ I thought to myself keeping my eyes shut.

Soon, the noise stopped but another nagging noise occurred in a matter of seconds.

“Psst… psst… psssst… PSST!!!”

‘WHY…! That noise is irritating!! AISH! What is it?’ I thought to myself again. I opened my eyes and stood up furiously.

“JJ… you sleepy head! It’s times to wakey wakey or we will miss out on such a sunny day. Come on! Do you want me to carry you to the bathroom myself ‘cause I seriously will if you don’t get a move on?” Yui’s voice occurred asking in an instant.

I realized it was Yui making all that noise. He was sitting on his bed facing me with a wide grin on his face showing off his delectable dimples on each side of his cheeks.

I jumped back to my bed and hid my head underneath the chunky pillows murmuring to him, “But it’s just six in the morning? We still have a lot of time and…”

“What are you talking about? Its already twelve NOON!” he accused.

Without me noticing, he scooped one of his masculine arms beneath my back and the other on my thighs while I was disorientated from exhaustion on my bed. He then pulled me up at once to his torso and walked several meters away from the beds like some kind of baby needing support.

“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING!!??” I shouted from the top of my lungs.

“Come on!! Stop whining like a woman or I will drop you on the floor. Wow… I didn’t know your this heavy now… hmpf… Have you been weight-lifting?”

*VHOOM! *

A sudden pain occurred instantly around my waist and near my buttocks. Then a tumultuous laughter appeared.

“WAHAHAHHAH!!!!! Whoops! I told you not to move… now look at what happened! I can’t believe you fell between my arms! BWAHAHHAHA!!!!!”

“AISHHHHHHHHH!!!! YOU LITTLE!!!! COME HERE!!! *T-T* MY BUTT IS IN TREMENDOUS PAIN BECAUSE OF YOU!!! WHY…. YOU!!!” I complained.

“BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! You can come and get me just don’t take forever to get up there or you’ll never catch me!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!” he dared with a cheeky smile.

I was quiet for a second then I burst into tears as the pain got sharper *T-T*.

“Hey, JJ? Are you okay?” He sounded serious. He came closer and kneeled in front of me to have a look at what was wrong.

“HAH!!! You foolish man!! I got you under my skin now!! BWUAHAHAHA!! *evil laugh*”

I pulled his left arm aggressively with both of my hands so I could get myself around him on the marbled floor and strangle him with all my might when I get my chance.

We spent about an hour on the floor fighting childishly like a bunch of six years old kids. As soon as we settled down we helped each other to stand up and clean ourselves up.

“Alright. Let’s go JJ…! We… have to go now… or we… will miss our chance of seeing… beautiful women… *^-^*” Yui said breathlessly from the exhaustion of the fight.

“Fine…! Just give me a few minutes and I’ll be ready. Go and wait for me outside before you MISS… YOUR… CHANCE… you say.” I exaggerated his words slowly in case he didn’t catch it as I headed for the bathroom with my hands supporting my back, suppressing the pain of my backside from the fall earlier.

Chapter 02: First Sight

*Knock! Knock! Knock! *

“JJ! Will you please hurry ‘cause I really can’t wait any longer?” a faded voice echoed through the bathroom door.

“I’m coming. I’m coming. At least give me a few more minutes to put my clothes on.” I answered while I was putting my white long-sleeve and dark blue jeans on.

“Ok. Just hurry!” Yui replied impatiently.

The ultimate problem with Yui is that he just can’t resist gorgeous woman the moment he sees one. This happened a lot of times and he would tell me how beautiful that girl is for hours and nag me about not asking her name and that he would regret it for the rest of his life for not doing so. That was just a few occurrences of our daily lives because all Yui would do is think, talk and even worship girls at times which I thought was way aboard the boundaries but who could blame him, its a boy thing I guess.

As soon as I was ready, Yui and I went outside the hotel to tour us around Tokyo by walking or through public transport. The day started out so wonderful with the sunlight shunning down above us even though it was still cold the temperature did increase a few degrees Celsius that we didn’t have to shiver.

Yui spoke and said with concern, “Hey, don’t you think that your long-sleeve is a bit too thin to withstand the cold? Here put this on or you’ll get sick. You know how quickly it is for you to get sick.” He stressed the last sentence in a slow rhythm.

“No I’m fine. It’s not that cold.” I looked at him knowing that he didn’t like my disagreement.

Yui opened his lips slowly and each word that came out of his mouth were forced out with great emphasis that I knew he wasn’t just plainly concerned but was dead serious as he monotonically said, “ you have to wear it. Please.”

I couldn’t back down on his brotherly affection to me so without any word I reached for his warm black suit and put it on.

“Thanks…” I said softly looking down then paused for a second and continued, “but what about you? Aren’t you cold?”

“No worries brother! I have a spare in my bug just incase.” He said in a surprisingly happy voice and pulled a little cheeky smile before we continued on with our little one on one journey together.

We walked exactly twenty-eight minutes to get to the train station that was flowing with hundreds of civilians. Yui was getting our entrance pass from the ticket master and I was oblivious then when they were speaking in Japanese to each other at a fast pace plus I wasn’t really aware where we’re heading, as I couldn’t comprehend what they were saying to each other at all.

“I’ve got the tickets. I swear you’ll love where we’re heading! Girls will be everywhere. Come on or we might miss our train.” Yui said with a sly grin.

We quickly made our way while being jostled, pushed, elbowed and shoved instantly all the way inside the chaotic train by the crowd. Everything was compressed that I could feel the heat of air being pressured against the surface of my face. It made it difficult for me to breathe in and out evenly as we stood up there with no sense of personal space. It was suffocating. Every angle I positioned my head to I see nothing but other peoples’ heads scattered everywhere and I’m being greatly squashed by Yui’s manly body figure and since I can barely even move an inch away from his statue-like torso, only exacerbates the whole concept of personal space I was hoping for.

Yui and I didn’t make a single conversation as we passed numerous stops. He was clearly hiding something from me but I didn’t bother asking him what it was and he didn’t say where we were going so I figured that that was what he was hiding from me. As the train would stop at a particular train station the comings and goings of people irritated me because there was constant pushing and shoving of people and I have to hold firmly to a pole to prevent myself from being off balanced but as the train terminated its route after almost an hour I was free to leave the train and breathe properly again.

I was already outside the train and I was waiting for Yui to get out so I stood just in front of the exit so he could see me easily. Everyone got out of the train already but Yui didn’t so I went inside again to see where he was but he wasn’t anywhere so as I walked my way out of the train the doors closed.

“AHHHHH~ T-T. Wait! Wait! I have to get off!” I panicked slamming my hands spontaneously on the closed doors.

The train started its engine vigorously and began to move roughly. I tried to get my hands on a pole or a sit without losing my balance but failed and so I attempted again and succeeded at last. My body shut down for a moment as I sat myself on a chair and thought about what I was going to do now but I just couldn’t. After fifteen minutes or so everything around me was so quiet and empty that I realized by looking outside the graffitied window the train had stopped somewhere already. The place was so unfamiliar and way too opposite from the urban society of Tokyo, it was so rural like and peaceful then the doors of the train opened and I quickly made my way out fearful that I might get trapped behind those same doors again so I stepped one of my foot outside without any awareness and precautions that in a few seconds I was facing flat on my chest on the ground that was made up of millions of tiny rocks. However, I didn’t seem to comprehend that I just fell two meters down from the train because there wasn’t a platform to step onto until I felt the aching pain from my chest. I wondered to myself why I seem to feel things in a delayed manner but I didn’t want to waste my time so I stood up and cleared my clothes from dirt and dust and walk myself off away the place.

“Man! I wonder where he could be right now. Aish! This is not good… not good at all… How on earth am I going to find him now?” I abruptly said to my clumsy self.

“Huh? Wait is that a person? Wait… I think it is. I should at least try and talk to her/him so I can find out where I am right now.” I thought.

I ran as fast as I could down on the field of lush greenery and shouted, “HEY! SUMIMASEN! CHOTO MATTEO!?” but that person couldn’t hear me. I was still too far away so I ran twice as fast as before.

“WAIT! HEY!” I shouted again. As I got closer I recognized that the person I was shouting to was a woman so I approached her in a gentle manner.

I stopped just behind her and crouched down putting both of my hands on my knees as I try to keep up with my breath then I said, “Sumimasen. ahh… boku wa….” I wasn’t sure what was I trying to say but she responded by turning around.

I stood up without slouching so I could talk to her properly but by the moment I saw her face, that very first sight of her, I was immediately out for words.

“Nani?” she responded with a harmonic voice.

I couldn’t seem to get any words out from my system as I look at her. I couldn’t explain what I was feeling that very moment and it felt very strange to me. I somehow didn’t like the feeling so I looked right away from her beautiful dark hazel eyes. I looked down to the ground and spoke.

“Uh… uh… Hero desu… dozo yoroshiku.” I said with a cracking voice, “Watashi wa Korean-jin desu.” I was struggling to find the right words to say as I rushed myself to speak in slight embarrassment so I just said, still looking down, “Anata wa… speak English?” I accompanied it with some physical actions so she could have a clearer understanding.

Without a second, she spoke and softly said, “So-rry? I do-n’tt un-dersta-ndd.”

I looked up and met her striking dark hazel eyes again. “I’m… lost. Can you… please… help me?” I said slowly with a crooked accent purposely that I thought would help her to understand better what I was saying.

She turned back away from me for a few seconds then turned her head around slightly to face me again and enthusiastically said, “Su-rre!” with a beautiful beaming smile that nearly swept me off my feet.

“You have a stunning smile….” I whispered to myself.

A tiny grin appeared across her lovely pale-colored skin as I took a few moments to look at her. She slowly started walking casually and I followed behind her without being asked to. There was a slight awkward silence as we walked so I spoke and asked her in an attempt to break the meandering silence.

“Um… So, how did you learn to speak English? *long pause* I’m really… lucky… to have found you in such a place like this.” I said stumbling over on a few words as they unexpectedly came out from my mouth.

I was astonished by her feverish excitement as she gave me a sweet unbearable smile again as a response for my foolish act (or maybe for being a little flirtatious?? Is that the word to describe it? Who knows?!), then she answered, “I can’t rea-lly spe-ak flu-entt eng-lishh. I… tauuu-ght my-selff to spe-akku.”

“That’s really wonderful! You know, if I were you I would be killing myself right now learning English by yourself and all. Wait, how long have you been teaching yourself? I wouldn’t even have the determination to do that by myself because I’ve been depending on others but you… you just prove me that it is possible.” I praised her but she didn’t say anything nor reacted to my kind words because maybe she didn’t understand anything I just told her so I tried my best to talk to her in Japanese.

“Sugoii! Ganbatte ne! Well done! ahhh… Demo… Anata wa… namae wa?” I struggled a little.

She walked continuously while she answered. “Aya. Namae wa Aya desu.”

At that second, I figured out that it was rude not to introduce myself formally to her when I knew the basic traditions of their lifestyle. So, I stopped walking and paused momentarily then I groomed myself to be introduced formally. “Hajimimashite. *bowed* Watashi wa Hero or Hiro if you prefer desu. Dozo Yoroshiku. *bowed again*” I said politely and slowly without rushing.

I didn’t really noticed if she saw the whole formal bowing as she was facing her back at me but as soon as I lifted my head from my last bow she was already facing me upfront and standing only three inches away from where I stood then she raised her two smoothing hands and placed it upon on each side of my almost blushing cheeks. She looked at me intensely for a brief second with her beautiful eyes locking me away from the world with her indescribable gaze while still holding my face. I was now officially out for anything. My body automatically shut down and just would not respond to anything anymore as she moved her left thumb to reach the right edge of my upper lip. She then came a little more forward in front of me just two inches away from my red-hot face caused by the awkwardness of the situation I was in. She softly tightened her grip around my face and moved her right thumb to the other edge of my left upper lip. I was damn sure I wasn’t at all ready for a kiss nor losing my first to someone I just met but it’s now or never.

She delicately pressed her thumb down against the edges of my lips and steadily pulled them up across my face only to resemble a polite smile. After a few seconds I realized from all the intense and intimate movement and serious thinking and hoping for a first kiss was that all she wanted me to do was to smile after introducing one’s self to a stranger. Now, the only reaction that my body could do other than blushing and going red-faced from the terrible trauma of thinking she was going to kiss me and just for the thought of it was… to faint and that’s exactly what happened.

Woah!! Poor JJ!!! Did he really faint?? Ah..can't wait for an update ^^

Chapter 03: Reality or Fantasy


It’s unbelievably warm, comfortable and peaceful.

The atmosphere of my surrounding was calming and silent until it was interrupted by a breathing sound getting louder and louder by the minute. I opened my heavy eyes realizing I was covered in an enormous blanket and that I was lying down on the floor with my head on top of a soft pillow. I turned my head in all angles possible to investigate where the sound was coming from but all I could perceive was plain white walls. Then, I lifted myself up and instantly I saw her, Aya, sitting in the corner with crossed legs and one arm holding the head and the other supporting the other arm’s elbow to prevent it from falling. Her back was slouched and her head was facing down with closed eyes.

It took a few second to become aware of that she was also sleeping only in a very very uncomfortable position. I didn’t want to disturb her from her rest but I was distressed by her position of sleeping so I stood up swiftly away from the blanket and walked on the tip of my toes to her side.

From then on I wasn’t sure how to get her from where she was to the place where I was comfortably sleeping earlier. It also didn’t make it any easier looking at her. The feeling of seeing her is something I wouldn’t feel normally when I see a person. It was a kind of feeling where your heartbeat seems to beat faster than it’s normal rate and you just cannot get enough of the sight because you are stunned by its beauty. The funny thing is that before I thought this kind of feelings only existed in movies but I guess I was wrong.

I wasn’t comfy about this feeling at all. It makes me feel confused and nervous every single time I would look at her but it was just so damn hard to keep my eyes away from her irresistible self.

‘You know if only I could talk in Japanese so fluently the first time I saw you the first words I would have told you would have to be that you are strikingly beautiful.’ I whispered to myself softly.

I walked back to my bed and grabbed the blanket to put around her knowing she was somewhat shivering from the cold. I maneuvered my hands carefully to her back while covering it with the blanket. Then I took the pillow and put it on the side of the wall just above her shoulder so she could lean on it in great comfort although she was still sitting, the view of her stance was now bearable and it made ease to my discomfort.

‘What should I do now? I have to contact Yui and tell him where I am before he kills himself from worrying about me.’ I told myself in a quiet voice.

I walked forward a doorway to get out of the room. I slid the door gently on the side and closed it again as I got out. I looked on my left hand side and all I could find was a massive space of room. Also, the structure of the room was so organized that it felt like I was living in paradise. The walls were white as the sky and the sweet aroma smell of the atmosphere lingered on me coating me in comfort and serenity.

As I walked forward outside a wide porch constructed neatly in set of lustrous woods I began to worry again. I didn’t know what to do or how I am going to even contact Yui. I stood there recollecting my thoughts to gain some kind of solution for this situation I was in. Without getting anything I started to kick aimlessly, I scratched my head in annoyance and sat on the wooden porch like a little kid with my knees folded and my hands on my feet.

“I can’t believe this happening to me! AISH! Seriously…. How more unfortunate can I get???” I told myself in high-pitch then out of the blue a polite voice responded.

“Daijoubu desu ka?” Aya questioned with her delectable eyes worriedly focused onto mine.
I stood up quickly and faced her flustered. “Ah~ yeah~ I’m ok…” I paused for a second and looked at her momentarily.

She responded with a soft smile and said, “I’m... go… to the the shopu… You want… tu come??” while pointing with her finger towards the direction of where the shops are.

I tried to articulate what she had just said for a second and replied, “Ah! Hai~ Yes… of course” I put my left arm behind my head and patted it softly to shake off my worries of being lost giving her a friendly smile.

It’s noon now and the sun was glistering its warmth above us while we walked to the nearby shops. We couldn’t talk to each other that much as it was hard for us to do so on our way but we manage to change smiles and glances instead.

‘Maybe I can call the hotel and tell them to tell Yui that I’m here.’ I thought to myself while Aya was looking over the curvy hills and green plains of the placid village.

“Ah!” Aya shrieked and pointed out to a small fruit shop.

It was an assurance that we’ve finally reached our destination after a ten-minute walk. Straight away Aya hesitantly approached the little fruit shop and went it. I was mesmerized by the many colors of the fruits standing outside the shop. They all looked ripened and luscious so I followed Aya inside with my back was slightly hunched due to the reason that the shop was small and I was tall not to fit in with my back straight.
Aya was smiling and giggling while talking to the old lady who was the owner of the shop. I couldn’t translate what they were saying but I was able to hear something I didn’t expect to hear… that made me grin widely.

I heard something like… ‘Aya-chan… Who’s this boy with you? Boyfriend?’ but I didn’t hear what Aya’s response was as I just tilted my head down for a soft chortle and walked away.

Aya soon came out of the shop with a handful of bags with numerous of fruits inside. I instantly offered my hand without a word and helped her, taking all the bags she was holding. We walked a little further only to find a store selling crushed iced drinks, which I thought was great, as it would complement with the warm weather.

“Aya… would you… like to have a… drink??” I told her while physically translating it to her with both of my hands.

“Hai~!” She happily answered.

I escorted her to a seat nearby first that was ten meters away and placed the bag of goods beside her. Quickly, I ran to the front of the store to get the drinks but forgotten to ask her what she wanted so went back. In curiosity, I found her surrounded with five guys varying in all shapes and lengths. Two of them were tall and skimpy and the others where short but bulky. As I got closer to them Aya shouted, “AHHH~ Don’t ttouchh… ME!!!!” The moment I heard that I didn’t back down and calmly asked one of the guys to remove his hand from Aya’s wrists.

“Hey! Do not touch her please~” I told them while I walked in front of her to defend her but the short guy was too arrogant to let her go so I took his hand off from Aya with force and tried to break through them so we could leave.

The five of them laughed wickedly behind us then the two tall guys held me back locking both sides of my shoulders and my fists to attack them. They were both strong and fast so I couldn’t do anything to help Aya. The other two grabbed Aya and dragged her to a corner while she was shouting in panic. I looked around for help but the people around us were too scared or too traumatized to help. The smallest of them all was probably the leader of some kind of gang. He stood in front of with a smirk sketched on his scarred face and pulled out a cigarette from a pocket of his black-leathered jacket. He then started smoking exhaling the smoke to my face purposely. Inhaling the smog I couldn’t help but choke on the thick smoke that was covering my face and just as I was about to say something to him he started to beat the crap out of me. I could feel the intense pain on my stomach and chest getting sharper and sharper as he continuously punched me in great power. Moving upwards he hit me incredulously and spat on my face like a total maniac.

All three of them were laughing as they enjoyed taking advantage of me. I could hear Aya shouting from afar struggling to escape from the hands of the other two members of the gang. I was embarrassed mentally when I saw her looking at me seeing what I was going through but I was more worried that they might do something to her.
With that inside my head I regained all my physical power I needed to fight back even though I was already beaten heavily and bleeding everywhere. I shouted a big groan and while at it I jumped and kicked the leader with all my might. With success he moans in pain on the ground struggling to breathe. The other two who was holding me tried to help him but with me broken free I became madly in rage so I started attacking them from behind.

I used every technique I was thought with in martial arts so I kicked and punched and hit every single one of them to the ground. After a few minutes it was their turn to groan from the pain they have given me at first. As I got closer to them three they all ran away in agony with bleeding noses and mouths. Then I searched for Aya finding her all alone already. I was in real mess and was extremely tired so I walked to her slowly to see if she was hurt anywhere or if something happened to her. I couldn’t catch my breath to ask her but she told me gently that she was fine even though I could tell that she wasn’t.

“Anata wa…” she spoke.

In silence I smiled at her in response and nodded mildly even though I was feeling hazy then I turned around with my back on her and knelt down. I was offering her to give her a lift on my back as I noticed her feet and knees grazed with wounds from earlier when she was getting dragged to the corner but I don’t think she understood what I was doing so instead I made the move and got her to my back in an instance.

She was as light as a feather so I didn’t mind holding the bags full of fruits that she had bought earlier. Though tired and traumatized we went back to her home.

Again it was quiet on our way back. I tilted my head a little to ask and see how see was doing but she was already sleeping. Her calm breathing aid my pain and wounds on my chest and with her head leaning against mine made me feel warm and content for some reason. I couldn’t resist the moment so I smiled while looking to her side and even her arms around me made me realized that she somewhat trusts me. My heart thumped radically as I think of these things and it made me happy because that’s when I know that I’m starting to like someone.

Chapter 04: Weird Feelings


Her scent has captured me completely. I wanted to stay like these with her for a while but we were getting near her house. I walked a few second slower to cherish the moment with her. Inside I felt strange… I’ve only met her and already she makes me feel like I can’t get enough of her. Sweating and hyperventilating at the same time I could not resist looking at her once again on the side. With one big gulp I turned my head on the side once again observing her white flawless vitrified skin but she couldn’t get any more alluring with her rosy cheeks that made her look so vulnerable on my shoulders.

As I face forward a metal pole had emerged out of nowhere hitting me on the nose and leaving me severe pain. Luckily, Aya was still asleep on my back and didn’t notice my clumsiness resurfacing again.

“Aishhhh~!’ I complained, as my eyes got teary from the pain. I could feel my nose getting warm and runny then I could taste the rusty metallic substance on the tip of my lips. I knew then that my nose was bleeding.

I immediately held my right arm to wipe it off but with the attempt Aya had woken up. I squatted down a little so she could get off my back with ease, as I didn’t want her to hurt anywhere else.

“Are you ok to walk?” I said with my sincere bass voice as I turned myself to her.

Without an answer she placed her thumb just below my nose and rubbed off the blood with her bare hand. She then positioned her other hand on the side of my head and grab my head gently towards her. I being oblivious to the situation I just followed and bent my shoulders just as she wanted me to. I looked at her at peace but was a little nervous. With her intense yet seductive gaze she came closer to me and gave me a sweet everlasting kiss on my left cheek and whispered a thank you as she let me go.

Mixed emotion arose within me. I didn’t know what to say so I just gave her a light smile. She smiled back and seized one of my wrists to her house immediately.

She sat me down on the lounge and left me for a bit. As she returned she was holding a small bag. She holds it up for me to see clearly and I recognized it was a first aid bag.

She asked me verbally with the guidance of physical actions to take my white shirt off so she could clean and aid my wounds. Hesitant at first I ended up doing it and started undoing the buttons. I loosen my shirt down and I could feel the heat suppressing around my cheeks and my upper body.

Then, we met each other’s glances and although the atmosphere around us was silent it was seriously intense, as I never had a close interaction with a girl this close before. She was a source of power that electrified me throughout in every single vein inside my body.

Aya started off with my upper right chest. I wasn’t sure if she could feel my heart trembling with her flesh against mine but I sat there as quiet as possible while looking at my wound and her indescribable expression. She looked as worried as a mother somehow and it made me allured to her more.

My grazes weren’t that severe but because I had a lot I had to moan and groan while she cleaned them thoroughly with a little force. As she was about to finish putting the bandage around my chest a sudden aching pain occurred from the very back of my head.

I trembled in pain and struggled to keep my composure then I closed my eyes tightly and put my arms around the back of my head to comfort it. With Aya on my side I didn’t want to exacerbate her worries so after a few second I sat upright and continued to smile as if nothing had happen although I was not sure where the pain or how the pain came about. Aya looked kind of scared and so I reassured her with my answer.

“I’m Ok~ I think I have a migraine but I’m ok. I’m healthy as ever!” I nodded and pulled a quirky face to make her laugh and she did.

It was my turn to aid her and comfort her so I reached for the first aid bag and found different kinds of ointments and bandages situated neatly in rows. I took hold of her left leg and immediately assist her with her wounds. Slowly and carefully I dug down the wound on her knees with the ointment to prevent it from getting infected.

Clean, refresh and covered with bandages we both stood outside the porch with a cup of tea on our stiff hands and sat down on the stool outside. The smell of the wind was like a sweet cure to our wounds as the icy air that surrounded us soothes it. The peaceful night has taken over the light with countless stars shimmering up above us.

I murmured, “I’m sincerely sorry…” pause, “I’m sorry I have to barge in to your house like this… Thank you so much for your hospitality… but tomorrow morning I will head off.”

She nodded quietly.

To be honest I didn’t want to leave her but I felt that it was enough that I could stay at her house for tonight. While beside her I sat in silence frustrated that I could not talk to her comfortably so I drifted off mentally and thought about other things like how I’m going to return to Yui. However, clouded with mesmerizing smiles and gazes I couldn’t think of any other things but this one girl sitting just five inches away from me. With just those simple thoughts my pulse rate started to rise again as my heart quickly trembles.

Unknowingly, I realized that she was leaning her head on my pale shoulders. I didn’t move a single nerve as soon as I found out that she was already asleep.

*thumped… thumped… thumped…* My heart silently says.

Without even thinking appropriately though cautious of my movements towards her I held one of her palm and covered them with both of my hands for warmth then slowly placing them just above my chest where my heart pulsates steadily underneath my frail looking skin.

“I don’t know what this is… but I do know that its you whose making it.” I mumbled.

“I’ve only met you just hours ago but you’ve struck me like crazy with every single happy expression your face would throw at me and with every touch or conversation we had a throbbing sensation would suddenly generate within me and now that we are like this sitting together with your head against me my body starts to weaken…” I paused as I told her as softly as possible knowing that she wouldn’t hear me anyway as I look at her in peace.

I looked up and resumed with my speech, “ …because I think I’m starting to fall for you quietly.”

Chapter 05: Real Brotherhood? (Yui’s POV)


“Aish...!!!” I burst in deep frustration, as I search for my clumsy little brother of mine.

“I swear JJ! How can you get lost at a time where we should be enjoying ourselves by now?? T--T Aish!! Whoo~” I continued on.

“I just hope your ok. With every thing I have taught you, you should be fine JJ! Yes! But since I am here please forgive me… I will definitely look for you once this is over! Yeah! ^^ Hwaiting! JJ! Hwaiting!” I tried to convince myself not to worry for him.

“There are so many girls here in Zushi beach!!!! WAH~” I told myself with overflowing joy.

My eyes widens as I step closer to them in their revealing bikinis though a little puzzled on how easily they could just withstand the cold breeze of the day.

*Major nosebleed*


Chapter 06: A Sudden Mess


BANG! BANG! BANG!

A sudden loud deafening noise came from the front of the house and immediately Aya awoke from her restless sleep.

SMASH! SMACK! BAM! BOOM!

The thunderous noises proceeded in the front of the house. Aya was scared and trembling but I wasn’t sure what to do but get her to calm.

“Aya…! Wait~ just relax. I’m going to look at what’s happening there. Just wait here I’ll be back and try to hide somewhere safe! Go~!” I commanded her with my anxious voice.

I stood up from the seat and slowly maneuvered my way in the house to get a closer look at what’s happening. I knew from my very first instinct that it was those stupid gangs trying to vandalize and retaliate at us after what had happened earlier at the shops. I was distraught to see that the living room was destroyed and it didn’t stop there as the laughing gang members outside threw more rocks and other dangerous substances that the delicate furniture had caught in ranging flames. The suffocating smoke rapidly covered the room within seconds and so I had to go outside and find Aya instead.

“AYA! AYA! *coughs*” I shouted in panic.

“Where are you!? We have to get out of here now!!! Or we will get KILLED!!” I shouted once more then I spotted her sitting on the grass garden on the corner shaking in fear.

I ran to her and snatched her with my arms. We run as far as we could to the endless field of grass quavering at the cold of the eerily quiet night.

“Aya! Aya! Wait wait! Calm down!” I told her as she cried in tears shaking and still running.

I seized her shoulders in great command as I shook her a little so I could tell that everything would be fine but I couldn’t because she has just lost everything in one devastating night all because of me.

She knelt down on the grass like she has just lost all of her strength in an instance. She looked so weakened and distraught by the traumatizing event and I couldn’t do anything to her but to give her a hug to tell her that she’s still got me and that I will help her get everything back.

“I’m… so sorry… I’m so sorry Aya.” I wrapped her around me as she cried.

She couldn’t talk back by the way she was so tightened my grip to comfort her and sang her a little song to stop her from crying.

Not many hours later we sat there in the middle of the field in the dead of the night relieved that the gang didn’t pursue us again. Aya was already asleep on my arms but we needed to get somewhere safer and comfortable to rest.

“Aya~ I will get you back your house. I promise. I’ll make one for you if I have too but for now we have to go back to my brother Yui. I’m so sorry.” My voice was faint saddened by the way the night had ended in disaster.

I walked countless streets for hours with Aya on my back. Surely I was tired but even that wasn’t enough to repay her back from everything.

As soon as I saw a train station nearby I thought back to how she managed to get me from here to her house when I embarrassingly fainted in front of her. It was too way far for her to carry me and I’m way too heavy for her when she’s got very fragile arms.

A tall slinky man dressed in black uniform suddenly appeared in front of me.

“Konbanwa. *He respectfully bows to me* I believe you are Hero. Mr. Yui had sent me to find you specifically and I believe I have. Also, my sincere apologies that I couldn’t find you straight away as the people from around here were clueless about you.” He paused and looked at me curiously as Aya was asleep on my back and then he continued, “Um… would you like me to take her back to her place sir? The car is waiting to take you back to the hotel.”

I was so much relieved and thankful when I found out that Yui had sent him to find me.

“Oh~ Arigatou Gozaimasu *I bowed back at him* but she’s coming with us. Just lead the way to the car and I’ll take her.” I hid my tiresome voice from him to assure him I was fine with her on my back but as a matter of back my knees were weakening from the exhaustion.
“Yes sir. Right here.” he replied at once.

Once we got to the car I’ve completely lost my breath from the fatigue.

-An hour to two hours later-

“JJ! JJ! Wake up…” a very familiar voice called out to me.

I woke from the sleep and found myself on the car sitting.

“JJ! Are you ok? I’ve worried as hell you know! Whew~ Lucky your all ok. I’ve been looking around you everywhere… well actually not quite… but still I looked for you everywhere and in every possible station you have gotten off from.” Yui spoke.

“Ehh~ Yui! YUI! Finally!” I shouted in joy and hugged him from outside the car.

We were like kids as we jumped around while we hugged and laugh in joy then we stopped as soon as Yui recognized Aya awoke and looking at us incredulously spaced out from inside the car with the door open.

“JJ… who’s this you’ve brought with you?” Yui asked with a confused look on his face.

I tugged him immediately to one side away from Aya and whispered at him.

“Oh~ She’s the one who have helped me from everything while I was lost and it’s a really long story but we were attacked by an unknown gang who terrorized her house and completely destroyed all because of me.” I briefly explained to him.

“WHA! WHA! WHAT!? Who’s this son of a gang you’re talking about huh? I’m going to kick their ass for you and teach them a long lasting lesson.” Yui threatened as he shouted the words in great emphasis.

“Well… I did… though not long lasting… All they would do is to retaliate and cause more fuzz. But Yui please help me with her… she doesn’t have anywhere to stay.”

“Well… that’s going to be a problem. Clearly she can’t stay with us because we are both boys and it would simply just look wrong since we don’t know anything much about her. Who knows she could be a gang member too or a spy or something scary…” Yui jumped into conclusions but I interrupted.

“Yui… what in the world are you talking about. Look, she’s a nice person I swear. She wouldn’t have helped a random guy if she wasn’t and besides she can’t go anywhere else if I leave her alone or something will happen to her.” I told him in a serious tone.

“Wait wait… why are you so worried about her? Isn’t because you like her huh?” he teased with a smirk on his face.
“So do you do you do you?” he repeated annoyingly.

“Of course not! I just wanted to help her back. That’s all.” I grumbled back.

“OoooooOOwwWWsss? Are you sure? Because if you really don’t then I’m going to make the move first! She’s very very pretty! Hehe…” he teased even more to provoke me.

But to my disappointment all I said back was, “Whatever.” like a little weakling.

We walked back to the car and I introduced him to Yui.

“Aya, this is Yui... my hyung…oh no wait that’s Korean… I meant he’s my best of friends.” I politely introduced her to him.

“Dozo Yoroshiku!” Yui put a beaming smile on.

“Nice… to… meet-u… youu…” Aya replied back in English.

They bowed and shook hands.

Before I could continue on Yui took Aya and went straight to the hotel lounge. I walked from behind them and got a little agitated by the fact that they could both speak to each other in Japanese so fluently and the fact that they were enjoying each other’s company.

Yui is so funny!! He has an adorable personality in this fic. ^^

Poor JJ though, he went through so much with Aya. He needs to leanr Japanese!!

Chapter 07: Clueless


I missed the luxurious fragrance of the hotel it emits. I breathe in and out heavily savoring the smell of coming back home.

“Yo~ JJ! Get change we’re going out. I wanna take you and Aya somewhere. Aya had never been in Tokyo at all so I want to show her around so hurry…” he grinned widely showing off his irresistible dimples of his and pranced off.

“What in the world is he thinking? We just got back… and plus, I’m so tired from all the commotion that just happened… T-T I should just stay and let them wonder around the city.” I pouted my lips in sadness mumbling the words out of my system.

As I was about to shout back to Yui, Aya appeared in the scene and spoke in her harmonic and calming voice.

“He-i-ro… Aren’t you coming with usu…?” she asked me her eyes fixed on mine smiling beautifully with her rosy lips.
Before she even spoke to me my heart rate was just, like thud… thud… thud… which switched immediately to a vigorous THUD… THUD!!! THUD!!! THUD!!! THUD!!! THUDDD!!!!! Repeating gazillion times.

“Ow… uh… well… yes… of course! But… I have to do… something first so I’ll just catch up… with you guys… ok?” stuttering over words whenever I spoke to her.

She somehow looked disappointed to my blunt response but I couldn’t recognized it well because she rapidly concealed it with a to warm smile.

“Ah~ Soka? We’ll see you… then.” she gently replied at me and walked towards Yui who was still crazily smiling.

And there they go again like a happy couple. I wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do to let them escape from my watchful eyes as they dissolved in the distance. After they had both left I went straight to our room to get change and munch on food a little before I could catch on them.

2 hours later of eating countless sushis and grooming. Unbelievably insane that I took forever to get ready but I believe that grooming one’s self must take hours and not just rushed. Well… that is my theory.

So I stepped outside the hotel and wore my black leather jacket and black tinted shades on just like how those men do it in movies and pose there immaculately for no reason but I stood there dumfounded as soon as I grasp the thought of losing myself again around the town.

So I walked around stores and a couple of pedestrians in hope that faith will bring me to them somehow but instead it brought heavy rain instead as the sky was overcastted with a depressing kind of color that I hated the most.

Rapidly, I ran for a nearby shelter across the busy street. Running with all my strength a figure popped up out of nowhere. Then, I slipped and stumbled on a chip of rock on the road as soon as I saw her, Aya, appear and with the addition of my clumsy carelessness a truly unexpected event happened before our eyes could even meet.

I opened my eyes slowly only to find myself on top of Aya but the worst part of all that was…

My lips were perfectly aligned to hers.

Her lips were soft as I’d first imagined them to be and because of that my heart pulsated tremendously. We stayed there on the ground with our lips still attached for a couple of second in the middle of the street with a couple of unfamiliar faces staring at us with mixed emotions as they witness a very awkward event happen.

The rain poured constantly as we stared at each other’s eyes astonished by the incident ourselves. With both of us shocked and speechless we stood up in the ranging rain already drenched so straightaway I snatched her hands and crossed the road together for shelter.
“So sorry… I… um… I fell… when I saw you… No… I meant… ugh…” I began to explain nervously to her jumbling on my words.

She looked at me smiling and then she began to laugh ebulliently. I couldn’t help but to start laughing back because with all the things we’ve gone through together it has nothing been but terrible accidents or unfortunate events. Yet, except for this one of course because my very first kiss of mine was stolen accidentally by the girl whom I seem to already love wholeheartedly.

Afterwards, as the atmosphere between us calmed I removed my jacket smoothly to cover her with it and grabbed both her arms wrapping it around my waist so I could cuddle her and give her warmth with the freezing breath of the air around us.

I wasn’t sure if she wasn’t comfortable with this but I couldn’t let her get sick from this either so might as well take a risk.

“Daijoubu desu ka?” (It means: Are you ok?) I told her softly as our bodies were firmly against each other’s with arms wrapped around us.

She replied faintly as she closes her eyes, “Daijoubu desu…” (It means: Yes, I’m fine.) while she tug her head underneath my chin at peace.

We waited there standing for the rain to fade away but in the meanwhile I just let her listen to beating heart waiting for her to doze off to sleep.

A few minutes later, I could tell she was already asleep against my chest so I started talking to her indirectly again as I always do it.

“You know, I feel really happy when were like this together. You make me feel calm, nervous, happy, sad, clueless, worried, unperturbed, weak, strong and other things when I’m around you all at the same time. You even make me have a heart attack at times…” I laughed quietly and continued on, “and it’s all because of you. Do you know that?”

“Hai…” A sudden noise escaped from Aya’s lips.

The moment I heard her respond I pondered to myself, “AHHHHHHHH!!!! YOU STUPID STUPID BOY! She wasn’t sleeping the whole time! T-T She heard all your cheesy lines!!! AHHH!!! DIE DIE DIE!!!! Please!”

“Uh~ hehe…” was all I could muster as a response then I looked down on her and saw her smiling still with closed eyes.

I pondered to myself again, “AHH~ I swear I’m never doing this again! T-T how could I be so clueless???”

Then she spoke lightly again but this time she pulled away from our cuddle and looked directly to my vulnerable eyes.

“Anata wa… suki… desu… I… like you…” she said with deep sincerity in her eyes.

Aww...that was so sweet!!! JJ telling her how she feels without knowing she's listening!! ^^
